How far that little candle throws its beams! So shines a good deed in a naughty world.

Genre and improv go together like PB and J. Come explore this natural alliance with Mel McGlensey as we dive into a different genre each month.

We’ll traverse the dark alleyways of Noir, cross the dusty plains of Westerns, do battle with the villainous characters of Shakespeare and whisper sweet nothings into the ears of Jane Austen heroines. This is an introductory class, a basic compentency in improv is encouraged but no prior knowledge of any specific genre is required.

This month we take on Improvised Shakespeare, in the lead up to the show’s upcoming run at Comedy Festival in 2023.
